Student Organizations
Shaw College student organizations are non-profit student groups initiated and established by Shaw College students. Assembled under an array of interests, the student organizations carry out a wide range of activities, promote students’ benefits and rights in accordance with the constitutions. Since the founding of Shaw College in 2016, various student groups have successively been established, including sports clubs, interest clubs, a community service club, and a student welfare organization. Shaw College views non-formal learning experience as an integral part of the University’s whole-person education. College students are strongly encouraged to pursue club membership and organizational opportunities to enrich their college experience.
Shaw College Resident Student Association (SCRSA) is the grandest and most influential student organization at Shaw College. Serving as a bridge that connects Shaw College students, the Shaw College Office and the University, SCRSA identifies potential issues students may encounter and proposes feasible solutions. SCRSA has successfully conducted nearly one hundred activities, through which students found their college life enjoyable and joyful. Join SCRSA and let’s unite our effort to empower Shaw College!

The charity group of Shaw College “Shaw with You” was initiated by a group of Shaw students who are passionate about community service and care for vulnerable groups, with the aim of providing a platform for Shaw teachers/students to engage in public welfare activities and leading them to contribute their efforts in public welfare undertakings in China and even worldwide.

Shaw Time, the first hobby group at Shaw College, was officially established in 2016. We offer professional training and plenty of basketball games, providing you with a platform to show your talent, refine your skills, and exchange ideas with your peers. Established in 2016, Shaw United was formed by a group of students who are passionate about football. It is an official football team representing Shaw College to participate in intercollegiate and interscholastic football competitions.

Shaw Secret, a board game club affiliated to Shaw College, is a community group reorganized by Shaw members from the university board game club. The club is particularly for board game fans of Shaw College, with the aim of enriching their college life and providing a platform for them to enhance logical thinking and communication skills. Since its establishment, Shaw Secret has conducted a bunch of large-scale events, e.g., the Night of Board Game, which are popular among Shaw teachers and students.

Upon the establishment of Shaw Smash in 2020, the team has won multiple awards, e.g., the team championships at the University Sports Festival, the Outstanding Student Organization Award of Show College. Shaw Smash provides professional training and serves as a communication platform for badminton lovers at Shaw College.

Established in January 2021, Shaw Awakened Youth is an academic student organization affiliated with Shaw College and dedicated to promoting patriotism and national education at the College. Shaw Awakened Youth works with students, offering them a different perspective in observing the world.

Established in 2021, Shaw Flight provides professional training with a full range of equipment. A group of Shaw volleyball lovers with excellent skills gather here and participate in plenty of volleyball competitions on behalf of the College. Shaw Flight is also dedicated to promoting the volleyball culture, i.e., building team spirit, developing lasting friendships, and overcoming divides that seem impossible to bridge. A variety of volleyball games are frequently held to improve students' physical fitness, expand their social circles, and so forth.

Founded in May 2021, Shaw Aces is the tennis team of Shaw College formed by students who are keen on tennis and possess a high level of tennis skills. Shaw Aces conducts regular training and represents the College to participate in a range of competitions. Come and join us if you are into tennis!

Shaw Onecue, the Billiards Club of Shaw College, was preliminarily established by billiards enthusiasts at the University Sports Festival in 2021. It turns into an official student organization of the College in September 2021.
