Shaw College Office is directed by the Master who oversees the daily operation and management of the College.

Office Hour: 8:30 - 12:00, 13:00 - 17:30 (Monday – Friday)

                     Closed (Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays)

Joyce Lin

Deputy Director

Joyce holds a bachelor’s degree from Hunan University and a master’s degree from Beijing Institute of Technology. She is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) Instructor and is also certified in Intermediate Social Psychological Services. She was awarded the title of “Excellent Mentor of Shenzhen” in 2020. Joyce joined the Shaw College Office as its first employee in 2015 and has been working as the Warder of Tower E since 2016. She has rich experience in team building, brand development, and student affairs administration. Prior to joining Shaw College, Joyce worked on brand development and marketing management for prominent domestic and international private listed companies, as well as foreign-funded enterprises. She also has experience in alumni affairs management for a renowned business school.

Annie Zhang

Sr. Supervisor

Annie graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Management from Shanghai Second Polytechnic University in 2010. She joined Shaw College Office in 2016, where she leads student activity planning and execution. Dedicated to advancing Shaw College's distinctive whole-person education philosophy, she designs immersive experiential programs that enrich student development across the College. Her previous professional experience includes roles at Wincor Nixdorf (Shanghai) and NF Supply Chain.

Erica Zhong

Supervisor

Erica earned her Master's degree from Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) and subsequently held administrative and managerial positions at HKBU and City University of Hong Kong. Bringing her expertise in English copyediting, she joined Shaw College in October 2022. In her current role, she oversees the College's branding, English editorial content, Hong Kong-related affairs, non-credit courses, and social practice initiatives.

Elsa Fan

Supervisor

Elsa holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northeast Forestry University (2015). She joined Shaw College at CUHK-Shenzhen in 2017. In this capacity, she oversees student affairs administration and fixed assets management, supports holistic student development through administrative services. Previously, she managed projects at large enterprises, gaining extensive experience in project coordination.

Yukee Wu

Executive Officer

Yukee joined Shaw College in February 2025 and holds a Master's degree from The University of Hong Kong. In her current role, she oversees the College's branding as well as the planning and execution of student activities. Her previous positions include roles at HKU Business School and Shenzhen Media Group.

Cherry Zhang

Sr. Executive Assistant

Cherry holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from the University of Sydney and a Master's degree in World Economics from Renmin University of China. She joined Shaw College in December 2020 and currently serves as Senior Executive Assistant, overseeing infrastructure projects, managing facility operations, and administering scholarship programs. Concurrently, as Executive Assistant to the College Master, she assists with administrative coordination.

Louis Wen

Sr. Executive Assistant

Louis graduated from the School of Communication and Film at Hong Kong Baptist University with a Master’s degree and joined the Shaw College Office in August 2022. As a member of the Student Affairs Team, his primary responsibilities include dormitory allocation, management of the electricity fee system and access control system, handling the College’s public email and hotline, as well as affairs related to the Communist Youth League.

Melody Xia

Sr. Executive Assistant

Melody graduated with a Master’s degree in International Management from the University of Poitiers, France, in 2020. With several years of experience in student management, she joined Shaw College in July 2025. Her primary responsibilities include managing the Warden and Tutor teams and overseeing daily administrative operations.

Ally Zeng

Executive Assistant

Ally graduated with a Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management from the University of Melbourne and joined the Shaw College in December 2022.She is mainly responsible for video production for the college, student and staff interview projects, planning summer social practice initiatives, and organizing non-credit courses. Previously, she worked as a Copywriter & Content Strategist at media companies, state-owned cultural and tourism enterprises, and a listed home textile company, accumulating rich experience in promotional planning, event execution, and team collaboration.

Echo Qiu

Executive Assistant

Echo joined Shaw College after completing her Master’s degree in Arts Management at the University of Manchester. She is currently responsible for new media content creation and management affairs of the student assistant team at the College. Prior to her current role, Echo interned at Hunan Broadcasting System (Hunan TV) and Hunan Daily Group. She has also worked in cultural media companies in roles focusing on new media operations and short video production.

Candice Nie

Executive Assistant

Candice graduated with a Master’s degree in Public Policy from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She joined Shaw College in October 2023 and is currently responsible for planning and organizing student activities, as well as advising student organizations including the SCRSA. Committed to integrating Shaw College's whole-person education philosophy into the student development process through innovative and diverse programs.

Arlene Zheng

Executive Assistant

Arlene graduated with a Master’s degree from the University of Warwick and joined Shaw College in February 2025, focusing on planning and executing student activities. Passionate about incorporating creativity into events to enrich the diverse campus experience, daring to dream and take action.

Betty Cao

Executive Assistant

Betty graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Hong Kong and joined Shaw College in August 2025. Her main responsibility is to plan and implement student activities. She is dedicated to sparking campus life with creativity and helping students grow and pursue their dreams together at Shaw College.


 
 
 
 

Vicki Wang

College Mentor

Vicki graduated with a Master’s degree from The University of Queensland in Australia. Holds certification as a National Career Development Association (NCDA). Joined Shaw College in 2023 as a college mentor, mainly responsible for freshman management and student mental health development.

Johnson Zhang

College Mentor

Johnson joined Shaw College in July 2024, holds a Master' degree in Applied Psychology from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, mainly responsible for freshmen management, students' mental health development and other work. With few years experience as a college counselor and extensive experience in students work and crisis handling.
