[Invitation] Shaw Conversations: Dine with Shaw Teachers #28
Shaw Conversations: Dine with Shaw Teachers is one of the traditional activities of Shaw College. Every month, an academic teacher affiliated with Shaw College or a distinguished guest speaker will be invited to have lunch or dinner with our students, sharing their experiences and perspectives as scholars.
For the 28th session, we have the honor of inviting Prof. Shi PU as our guest.

About Prof. Shi PU
Prof. Shi Pu is an Assistant Professor in the Information Systems area at the School of Data Science at CUHK-Shenzhen. He has previously served as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Florida, Arizona State University, and Boston University. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Peking University in 2012 and his Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2016. His main research interests include distributed machine learning and large-scale optimization algorithms. He has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has been selected for talent programs in Guangdong province and Shenzhen city. Since 2022, he has been serving as an editorial board member for the IEEE Control Systems Society conferences.
