2020.11.26 |【通知】2020年度校园消防演习通知
Dear students,
It has been over a month since we carried out the waste sorting and disposal work. Thanks to your effort and support, we have made initial progress in the work. However, there are still cases of leaving the waste in the public areas such as the corridors and the communal kitchens. Waste in the public areas not only affects the environment but also threatens our residents’ health. To facilitate the waste management work and enhance our residents’ awareness of protecting the hostel environment, Shaw College is now initiating the “Say Goodbye to Corridor Waste” Waste Sorting and Disposal Competition. Details are as follows:
- Participants: All students who currently reside in Shaw College hostels
- Date: December 1 to 25, 2020
- Competition Rules:
- In this competition, each tower is regarded as a group and each floor is regarded as a unit. The competition adopts the deduction rules. A total of 100 initial points will be given to each floor and may be deducted due to the violation of the waste management rules. At the end of the competition, Shaw College Office will rank all the floors according to the data reported by the AVIC staff. Floor(s) with the most points in each group will get the prizes.
- The AVIC staff will inspect all floors at 9:00-10:00 and 19:00-21:00 every day and attach colored labels to the undisposed waste. The AVIC staff will record it and deduct one point from the floor.
- The total points of each floor will be counted after the competition. Detailed rules are as follows.
