On October 22, students from Shaw College embarked on a study visit to The Chinese University of Hong Kong, an event that blended cultural heritage with scientific innovation. The visit included an immersion into the university's collegiate spirit and historical legacy at the Pavilion of Harmony and the History Gallery. A highlight was a special lecture by Professor Wolfgang Baumeister, a Shaw Prize laureate, on the subject of cryo-electron tomography. This interdisciplinary experience proved highly successful in broadening perspectives and inspiring new avenues of thought.
