On the evening of November 25th, Shaw College's 2024 High Table Dinner was successful held at the Grand Ballroom of the Coli Hotel. The evening began with a practical and insightful welcome speech by Professor Cong Wang, the Associate Vice President and Master of Shaw College. His address, centered around the theme of "Whole-person Education", highlighted Shaw College's commitment to fostering a nurturing environment for student growth. He emphasized how the College integrates educational principles into students' everyday lives through a wide range of activities that focus on the six key dimensions of whole-person education. Following Prof. Wang’s speech, the keynote address was delivered by Professor Leung Yiu-kin, Head of Shaw College at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His speech on "Can Human Intelligence be Enhanced" explored a groundbreaking scientific discovery: intelligence can be enhanced by the connection and reshaping of neurons. He encouraged students to constantly push their intellectual limits through both thought and practice, unlocking their full cognitive potential.

The event continued with the presentation of the Shaw Awards to deserving students by the attending guests. After a toast and a group photo, all participants enjoyed a delicious dinner while appreciating the diverse and impressive performances showcased by Shaw College students.
