Insights into the Mental Health of University Students
On September 2nd, Shaw College hosted a lecture titled "Insights into the Mental Health of University Students" in F302. The College had the privilege of inviting Professor Hu Chiyi, Director of the Student Health & Counselling Centre (SHCC) and a professor of Applied Psychology at the School of Humanities and Social Science, CUHK-Shenzhen, as the speaker for this lecture. Prof. Hu highlighted the significance of mental health and underscored the importance of teamwork and collaboration in a dormitory. This lecture provided students with a foundational understanding of mental health and outlined the counseling services available through the Student Health and Counselling Centre, thereby raising awareness about the importance of caring for one's mental well-being.
