Shaw Awakened Youth's Attention on Agricultural Concerns and Rural Engagement in Wheat Fields
From May 21 to June 1, Shaw Awakened Youth launched a significant research project in Mengjin District, Luoyang, Henan Province. Throughout their study, the members conducted thorough and detailed interviews with local township governments, enterprises, village collectives, and individual residents. They went beyond mere observation, choosing to visit villagers in their homes, sharing meals and participating in daily labor to authentically engage with the rural lifestyle. This immersive approach cultivated deep bonds between the students and the local community, granting the team a nuanced perspective on the intricate challenges faced by villagers, village officials, and township cadres in their routine endeavors. Engaging directly with various local entities, the members developed a holistic and nuanced comprehension of the contemporary issues afflicting agriculture, rural communities, and farmers.
