Shaw Delight: Graphic Design in Japan 2023 (Hong Kong Edition) Exhibition & Historical Trail

On the morning of April 28th, Shaw College curated a cultural escapade to the Central District, Hong Kong. Accompanied by Shaw teachers, students set out on an enlightening expedition, blending art with the rich tapestry of urban culture. The destination was PMQ, the former Police Married Quarters, now a cradle of creativity. Here, tour guides brought the vibrant narrative of contemporary Japanese graphic design to life, allowing students to engage intimately with the finesse of the art on display. The afternoon began with a leisurely exploration of the Central-Western District Heritage Trail. Amidst the contrasts of historical architecture and modern cityscapes, students captured the ephemeral beauty of the city's storied streets through their cameras, each snapshot echoing with the city's unique allure.
